I guess I would assume that if someone might be a good fit, it’d be fairly obvious up front. I’ve been on hiring panels and I hated making people jump through hoops 😭

I think the white boarding is maybe also a take home. I’m not searching but can’t help but nose around in the job descriptions!

Sounds like a pretty small company if you’re meeting with CEO. I’ve mostly worked with companies of <10 people so that’s pretty normal to me. References and additional interviews seems extra tho

Definitely seems like a smaller startup but the steps seem like it’d take a full 8 hours or so. Luckily I am not job searching, it all seems daunting!

Portfolio reviews are pretty standard, it’s the whiteboarding/take-homes that are the annoying part.
