A hardback always make me feel like I work for it—a paperback feels like it works for me
Having made both hardback and paperback books by hand in design school, I appreciate the craft of both. That said, sometimes publishers cheap out on the materials for paperbacks. Judging by the design of this one though, I bet they didn’t here.
To be clear: I appreciate the hell out of the craft of hardcover books. I just hate everything about the experience of reading them.
