This is a bit misleading, isn’t it? Foursquare isn’t shutting down, they’re just shutting down the city app and the website to focus on Swarm. The company isn’t going away and neither are their services.

The news of Foursquare shutting down makes me sad which makes me a tech boomer. 4SQ has been on my home screen for well over a decade.

That’s right. So the app I had on my phone for over 10 years, in the screenshots, will no longer be.
I have a bunch more photos but the 1 photo limit on Posts is really...limiting.
