Upload your readcv export, get back a version with a built-in CMS that you then deploy yourself so it's yours forever. All profiles/sites (that opt in) feed into a community hub like before. Would anyone be interested?

a self-hosted CMS? I can't stress enough how into that I'd be. Yes.

Especially if the import was the JSON and not the nextjs project. I'd very much like to not use nextjs.

You and me both on that last point. Yeah so the initial idea was just to build a simple admin interface into the profile site itself

What I like about it is 1) People's profiles/sites doesn't go to waste 2) Non-coding folks can still actively edit and update their profiles/sites 3) People 'own' their code so there's no platform to disappear 4) We maintain the community hub / readcv homepage experience

Yeah, I'm 100% into that.

Were you thinking of a different approach or something like that too?

no that's also what I was picturing! Like I used read.cv for my "professional" site not because I couldn't build it myself, but because if I changed it often I wouldn't want to mess with code.

I’ve thought about this for so long and literally the reason I didn’t build it was readcv existed, had all the fields I wanted, etc. Why is there no “personal CMS”?!
