Don't let the decisions of companies, whether good or bad, define who you are and your craft. The moment you stop attaching your talents and craft to a company or job, the sooner you realize that nobody can *ever* take that away from you. You will always be in control, I promise.

Why are elevator conversations so awkward?

My therapist said something today that resonated with me about productivity and my depression – that "nobody is productive 24/7" which made me reflect on the struggles I've been having with being online lately and how the way people post would make you think otherwise.

Just saw the "friend" wearable AI device commercial and all I could think was that men will literally create devices for artificial friendship instead of going to therapy.

Any agencies or studios who really think AI is a legitimate threat to their business, were likely already heading in the wrong direction to begin with.

Last month, I was inspired to start using an iPod. Yesterday, my father gave me his iPod Classic (5th Gen). Still working, but with a busted screen. 

I’m going to be spending the next month fixing and modding/upgrading it to be my on-the-go music player of choice.

Got back into a workout routine these last couple weeks that I'm proud of after years of neglect. Lost over 30 pounds these last 14ish months with just diet alone, and I finally got the kickstart I needed to get myself back in the gym and just start moving more in general.

I scrolled through design Twitter for a hot minute (I have a dummy account for research purposes since you can't view tweets without one) and it still amazes me how unchecked people are in this industry of their ego and 💩 takes. 

Sometimes it's best to just shut the f*ck up.

As a Puerto Rican and Dominican, coffee has ran through my veins since I was young. Over the last ~6 months though, I've slowly transitioned away from cream and sugar, to just straight up black. My ancestors would be proud.

I sometimes wonder how Mac Miller would've continued to evolve as an artist if he was still alive today. His discography is such an amazing example of someone who kept going deeper and perfecting his craft, and I felt like he was just getting started. Swimming + Circles are gems.
