The more I use Figma, the more I enjoy building the components. This is a basic button system for primary, secondary and tertiary usage in 3 set sizes. That monster button only gets used a handfull of times, but feels good when it does.

So my studio is quiet (cost of living crisis and recession). I applied for a temp art worker job but didn't get it (the first time, I never got an offer from an interview). Got me thinking, what else could I do? Why not try and design a glass coffee mug?

Do any Framer users know how to make an SVG responsive? I can't find anything online.

Quick test render. I did think about 3D printing a test model till I saw the cost!

Been such a challenging year financially; work has been so slow, yet for those jobs I have completed, many clients don't pay on time. It's such a drain having to spend time chasing people up. I know, as designers, it's part of our industry, but it shouldn't be.

I thought it best to get some cards printed for our trip to Fort William for the DH World Cup, just in case.

I was using Framer for the first time yesterday. Made me think, why haven't Figma developed something similar?

Refinement in shape from yesterday. I might need to make a 3D model and print it next.

I think I am done for now. Fun wee project to spend a few days on. It would be good to go for a bit further and work towards manufacturing. Maybe for another day.
