Hey mechanical keyboard aficionados 👋 and especially Alice-Layout users: how long did it take you to adopt the layout? What made you stick to it? Or why did you decide to not use it? Would love to hear your thoughts and inputs 😊✌️

Didn’t take long at all! The biggest hurdle was adapting to split backspace, which I ended up going back on (all my Alice boards now use full bs). The split isn’t as significant in practice as it is visually. It’s my second fav layout after true HHKB.

I get ya. The amano & switch couture alice's are good places to start but you may also be able to find some options on r/mm or the mm discord. Of course there's also the Microsoft Ergo, not mechanical and not a perfect 1:1 with the traditional alice but its also pretty cheap!
