If Linkedin forces me to do this while I'm still unemployed, that's cyberbullying

Is getting verified on LinkedIn a big deal?  I really don't want to install the LinkedIn app on my phone, considering how it harasses me to turn on notifications, like every friggin' time.

I put it off for a long time but one day it just logged me out of the browser and didn't let me log back in without verifying myself on the app.

Holy hell, what kind of dark pattern is this?

Honestly not sure but I'll be putting it off for as long as possible
