“Chick-cent-me-hai” is how I learned it, with the -lyi ending functionally silent

In every talk, Mihály Csíkszentmihályi is consigned to Mike "Last-Name-I-cannot-pronounce". Have to feel for the guy, really. Hint: It sounds close to "chick-sent-me-high-lee", in case you want to set things right in your next talk about flow.
Your way was how I had learned it too :) I ended up referring to what the pronunciation in Wikipedia indicated.
didnt expect a hungarian course here haha, but @jonas.so’s way is slightly closer, except you do pronounce and even push the -lyi at the end too 😉
also, as ‘Csík’ includes a long ‘í’ I d suggest swapping the ‘chick’ to ‘cheek’
