framer update: yes i have a small, but pretty portfolio site up and running after much hemming and hawing. stayed up to 4am last night and most of today as well. it is indeed very easy, but what worked for me was 
: an unmovable deadline, solid 12 hours of focus, a template.

I hear this so much. Sometimes you just have to really buckle down and get it done. If I set my own deadlines, stuff never gets done.

i think if you have the choice between spending a week or 2 on a tutorial or class on Framer or spending it on a grueling short burst with a specific project - I learned more with the project and got further with a real result.
