There’s a hard limit on the Mac mini’s performance that is fine for most people but if you want uncompromising performance isn’t acceptable. MacBook Pros spec way higher than minis.

So, a Studio-sized Pro!!!? (And just get rid of Studio altogether!)

Expansion ports are one of the main reasons, even though the Studio is still lacking. M4 Ultra will hopefully have better/more GPU cores too because although inference is great, I'd still prefer training via CUDA, but hopefully the gap is smaller after the update.
