I say get that BAG 💰💰💰
Does anyone have perspective on down leveling and whether it is a poor decision to make? Or is it more common with how different every company is when it comes to career levels?
I've been down-leveled and I don't recommend it lol I think it's more common for big tech companies, like FAANG
Oof, sorry to hear that. Is it alright if I DM you to chat a little more about your exp?
I’ve switched jobs to roles with lower levels, lower pay, and switches from leadership to IC roles (not all at once). I haven’t regretted any of those changes. I’m not saying that will be the case for every time, but if you think about what you want they can be positive changes.
And although linear career progressions are simpler to explain, other can be more interesting.
