I’m a lot more bullish than many designers and artists with regard to AI (with the exception of those who are actively evangelizing), but I think we’re starting to see a quality wall that we won’t get over for decades. I think the time of rapid quality jumps is over.

Yeah. I don’t think we’re going to see the same leaps and bounds improvement in quality with regard to creativity, complex logic, or insightfulness. It’s impressive in a lot of ways but I think this is it for the foreseeable future.
Curious what you base this on! Golden Gate Claude made me think that there’s a lot of potential in understanding how they actually work, rather than just continuing to scale up the data
