Lately I've noticed that more and more creatives make a strong point of telling other creatives to make sure they're paid properly. Seriously, stop under valuing your work. Yes, everyone can be creative, but being able to harness that in an effective way is so valuable!

Portfolios are the bane of my existence. 

Getting a website to look nice on a website is just so hard. Strongly considering just putting like 4 case studies and being done.

I’ve just counted 8 out the first 10 posts in Highlights are about either design, technology, code, or working (digitally) for a corporation. 

There’s definitely not enough of other things (fields of work, life, art, reflections, and so on)

I’m working on a new thing and looking for principle product designers to talk to. Who should I talk to?

You can do it!

Alot of tech companies big or small don't hire from Africa despite how big and fast the market is. Scrolling through filters on careers pages only to realize all continents exist but Africa doesn't really hurts.

I wonder why because it's really not about talent.

The most amazing and talented people are here on posts, posting pictures of their food 😂. Seems there's just this food/lifestyle culture on this platform, I love it though.

I teach product design on Saturdays and Sundays. It's been helping me learn a lot while also giving out a form of value to my society. It's been fun!

Nothing/no one can save the world alone, but everything/any one can contribute to save the world, actions is that thing that contributes, wether is go volunteering, or designing posters to promote volunteering, or creating an app to locate volunteering centers near you.

I've been thinking about interviewing a lot lately. Specifically about how different functions are evaluated. Engineers seem to be evaluated on their potential. Designers seem to be evaluated on past performance.

What will help in this job market: You can help your unemployed friends by referring or introducing someone to a hiring manager or someone on the hiring team. If you are a privileged white male, consider helping folks outside of your bubble.
