Hey all, I wanted to share a very bittersweet update here before we shared it anywhere else. First, the hard part — we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down Read.cv and Posts starting this month.

To be transparent, the reason for this decision is anticlimatic — ultimately the challenges of sustaining a small business were more than we could overcome.

As for what’s next, our team will be joining the product and engineering team at Perplexity. Both of our teams share a passion for building tools that encourage exploration and curiosity, and we’re excited to show you what we build together.

Reflecting on the last 4 years, it has been an incredible privilege to take a swing at building this product and community, and I want to sincerely thank you all for your support.

Turns out I'm wrong and it's really ending. The Read.cv team is joining Perplexity but the community is at a crossroads. We should build a new one or join somewhere that looks promising and suits our vibe. Threads/X/Mastodon/Bluesky? Onwards from here.
