@andy What are the biggest things from a UX/UI/Strategy perspective that you intentionally want to do different than Twitter?
I think changing peoples incentives to post - stuff like not showing vanity metrics is an intentional start at this. Also highlights that optimize for a positive vibe vs an algorithm that maximizes engagement/outrage.
Not sure I follow - every single post shows vanity metrics such as likes, reposts and comments just like Twitter
Giving users the possibility to be featured / highlighted disregarding followers or likes is working great. But eventually hard to make it work at scale without algorithms.
Ahhh, I see what you mean! I think that’s a good decision! I would suggest to consider hiding comment/share/like and indicators from the main feed to keep things clean and don’t encourage people to interact with posts based on social interaction counts but rather the content
