recently rewatched Arrival for the 5th time and this time, I also read the source material (Story of Your Life by Ted Chiang) AND the adapted screenplay by Eric Heisserer. 

I am struck by:

biggest surprise in this design career pivot is that design is the Wild West 

sooo many opportunities out there. it's up to you to: know what you want, find high quality opps, and to wield the power of "No" (which I'm now learning 😅)

I won't lie, today is one of the rougher mental health days during this period of career pivot/unemployment. It's to the point where I'm considering getting a fulltime job in my old profession again for my mental health.

The highs are so high, and the lows are so low 🥲
