I’ll be in Tokyo coming up end of October! What brings you out there? Would recommend high tea at mandarin oriental / aman if you like interiormaxxing

Nice! What work are you presenting there? Is it mostly interior design ? (from my skimming of the website and news)

Hey I‘m not presenting there. I think it’s more industrial design / art focused but still quite mixed.

Welcome to Tokyo! Some of my favorite museums: Tokyo Photographic Art Museum 21_21 Design Sight (design exhibits) Toppan Printing museum (in the basement of one of Japan’s largest publishers, exhibits can be a bit obscure but if you’re a print nerd it’s fantastic)

I always tell everyone to try the Coffee at Glitch, Jimbocho. The area is also known for its bookshops.

Shimokitazawa is nice. Between Shimokitazawa Station and Setagaya-Daita Station, there's a very chilled open air area called Bonus Track with lots of cute cafes. There is also SOJYU spa nearby (reasonably priced and very relaxing, with Eng reservation online), I highly recommend.
