i figured out a quick hack to get touch cursor in figma prototype without device frame: pop open the inspector, find the parent <div> of the main <canvas>, and change the class name from “cursor-default” to “cursor-touch”

want to work at a place that affords and rewards care

noticed that i tend to put more content into a slide when i make slides with figma vs with keynote. wondering how much of that is due to figma’s inability to easily rearrange slides or just me being so comfortable in figma that the focus on design trumps storytelling

TIL you can fake a path animation (i.e. shape moving along an arc instead of a straight line) with smart animate by nesting the shape in a frame and rotating the frame

what if there are link previews in figma? im thinking specifically about pasting in a figma link to another file/page and it gets formatted nicely as a block (think bookmark in notion) that shows the cover & last update time (and maybe also the owner)
