i'm so turned off by the prevalence of AI that i think less of brands that have shoehorned it into their products/services... 😒 (unless it's actually useful and sensible for the product/service)
Yeah I feel the same, but at the same time think that there's no way to avoid it in the future, so we'll have to get used to it I guess. There is soooo much bullshit being promoted just because it has AI in it 😐 What would be useful and sensible for the product/service to you?
yeah, that's kinda the vibe i'm getting... "it is what it is" 🙃 i'm not entirely sure, but i saw a tweet about how at some hospital, thru AI, they detected a lump/anomaly in someone—so more of that lol.
There are definitely cool and important stuff being done with AI. But most often it has to do with traditional ML, rather than GenAI and monetising the creative output of the whole humanity. Mineral is one of such cases, by Google X youtube.com/watch?v=lmxrRp…
of course AI will bleed into every sector and facet of day-to-day life (as it already seemingly is...) but i guess i just wanna see more cool, bettering of lives/professions; and less of the vanity or fluffy shit.
