With "new trend", do you refer to the artistic feeling of it, the way they present their product, or something else? I truly loved their new design, but I've already seen similar designs e.g. mural.co (except for the AI-generated image style)

I think for SaaS products over the last year or 2, dark mode bento has been the major trend. This just seems like a breath of fresh air. Its a nice blend of bento, the interesting font choices and solid section bgs like mural.co uses, and the new splash of artistic flair.
Oh yeah, that is definitely making me crazy lol. I would pay to get to watch their process on the incredible art direction for this design, they have just nailed it!
When I think of Intercom I think of when they used to have an illustrated style for their brand.. I miss that, it had personality~
