If you're talking about Google Search specifically, maybe. But Google has many other products, like YouTube, Gmail, Workspace, Maps, Translate, etc., that will keep them around for a long, long time, unless something drastically changes in the next few years

How about Android? Plus, they are marrying Gemini to search and into all of these data points across products. They are in a great position to make ai actually useful.

AI is going to kill a lot of the open web and everything will be behind walls to prevent AI scraping data and then AI will become less useful because it won’t have this source of endless free information to steal. Where Google Search is at this point who knows?
