Been spending too much time thinking about social networks and why spaces like this one are always short lived. It's such an interesting problem because traction can kill the space if there's not an underlying business model underneath the network.

Dribbble, LinkedIn, et al. the 'professional network' has a legitimate business model, but have to be willing to do the dirty work. Was hoping they could get over the hump because from a design standpoint they nailed it with the younger crowd. Polymark, Contra, all miss the mark
