My favourite cameras are only the ones I have used. My Minolta X5700 was my first step in photography as a 13 year old. But since moving to DSLR I’ve never used it again. Having said that my love for my Fujifilm XT2 could push me to explore their film cameras.

ah nice nice I was looking into a Minolta myself! My brother's got a Fujifilm x100 I think and it's quite amazing, love DSLRs but really wanna try my hand at film

Buy the cheapest camera you find, and spend the remaining money on film. Buy a bunch of different speeds, b&w,color, expired, w/e. Just try a bunch of different stuff. Most of your money is gonna go towards film and processing
