Thank you! It’s definitely a (perpetual) work in progress but that’s really motivating to hear. ❤️

The rest of the site is gentle and quiet. It is loud. Consider using half scale for that port of the world, italics alone at the same size is enough signal to be distinct. Maybe have one nav at the bottom and make the socials just icons.

i like these suggestions. this is certainly a matter of taste but...i wouldn't mind a little pixel art in the footer >:)

An observation: the leaf icon sits alone in a sea of white, just above the gradient. This makes it feel visually excluded from the rest of the footer. To fix that, I'd extend the gradient a bit higher to pull that element in.

It’s a little confusing. Which is footer, and which is navigation? Maybe a colour strip across the bottom to hold the terms etc would separate them more from the primary page elements. I like bottom navs (esp for mobile). But not sure not-quite bottom nav is as effective.

Perhaps move “reflect, settings…” to the top. It feels awkward to have the navigation on the bottom. The copy “burdened minds…” feels heavy. Maybe reduce the size of the text. Hopefully that should lighten up that area.

Personally I like a tall footer. Feels like a safe landing. Maybe it only needs two thin horizontal lines flanking the leaf icon to frame the space.
