As I continue to work on my side project using Cursor, I continue to wonder what “the work” will be in the future. It’s already a lot different than it was.

But still, stuff that would have taken me weeks to do in my spare time, I get done in minutes to hours. It's wild.

That’s awesome. Do you also consider yourself a developer? Like is Cursor enabling you to do something couldn’t or is it a speed/effort benefit thing?

I'm a hybrid type – designer first, but have been coding for lots of years and have done development professionally. It's a little bit of both – while I'm sure I could get to the same point *eventually*, the speed that Cursor gives me the confidence to actually build stuff.

That said, I'm mostly prompting, let's say 80% prompting and 20% coding. You can easily see how this gets to the point where you're 96% prompting and 4% coding with the rate of change in the field.

It's the Notes + Whiteboard app of my dreams. It's still early but you can check it out here: gesso.us/

As far as my experience, it's more mind blowing every day. I describe what I perceive to be complex features and interactions and it just absolutely crushes it most of the time. Then doing the last mile styling. Sometimes it goes off the rails and I start again.
