Genuinely curious, when was the last time you listened to an album from beginning to end with no distractions?
I’m very much an album listener myself! Its more I hardly dedicate time for listening, it’s normally playing in the background whilst doing something else
This past weekend I sat down and listened to three new albums all the way through without doing anything else. Usually when an album I’m looking forward to comes out I’ll set aside time to just sit and listen. Otherwise, I listen to whole piano or ambient albums while I work.
Almost all the time. I prefer full albums to playlists except in social gatherings
Does it count if you're too impatient/too excited to listen to the full song and skip from one to the next? I guess that's being distracted lol
It’s really the only way I listen to music if I can help it, I still use CDs/a Zune for their lack of distractions. I love just sitting down and dedicating time to enjoying the whole thing!
I listen to 5-6 albums per day whilst working, it’s my primary method of listening to music. In the car, I’ll pick an album long enough for the drive or i’ll shuffle 5-6 albums together depending on my mood.
