Yeah I will experiment with them but idk about them replacing processes anytime soon
Is anyone here buying that UI designers need to use replit or v0 in order to future proof their careers?
not even a little bit. We'll increasingly see them get better at this sleight of hand that makes it *seem* like they're thinking but this specific tech will never be capable of that. For cookie-cutter problems, it can offer cookie-cutter solutions. But it can't *think*.
I don’t think so, but it might help I guess? I kinda see designers as being the ones with the strategy and vision how it should look like, the ones with taste. v0 has its place maybe for simple stuff, but try getting something a bit complex or funky and it’ll fail miserably.
It will be crucial to know about it for most designers in order to defend their position. That’s it. Distinguishing what is a tool vs what is a true disrupter goes through experimentation.
