I think having deep knowledge about the company, and the team. And then relating it to what you want in a job, that they have, can help you flow while answering this kind of question.

When you're applying for jobs, how do you tackle "why do you want to work here", "what excites you about this job", "why should we be excited to have you on our team" type of questions? This always trips me up, and I'm always lost trying to answer these questions.

Try to spin it into a growth question. "How would working here contribute to your personal and professional goals?" "What opportunities do you see that you didn't have in the past?" "What do you bring that can help others on the team achieve their goals?"

I wouldn't overthink it, talk about being interested in their work + how your unique experiences and skillsets enable you to help their teams. It's helpful when their mission or product interests you, but even when now you can find a weak tie and standardize-ish your replies
