I think it’s different, they are referring to a team not an organisation. I think this is what they meant by that: „Please allow us to train our global model on your designs so it can generate better designs for all our customers“

although it would be useful to have an option that allows the model to be trained only from/for a specific organisation

Figma will be training their AI on your design work too now btw, and it's opt-out.

I think that is the case, since the setting is on the team setting level, not individual user. If anything, I think it should be opt-in on the project level and off by default for drafts.

this setting is live btw and on by default. If you want to turn it off, go to the Admin section of your team, then Settings, then scroll to the bottom.
