We also added this about page that talks about our motivations behind Posts, what it is, and what it isn't. We hope it resonates 😌 posts.cv/about
Happy Saturday everyone 👋 We're getting ready to launch our web client on Monday, but wanted to have you all kick the tires before we fully announce it. There are some last minute bugs we're hacking on this weekend, but it's Good Enough™ to try out: posts.cv/
woopsie, we updated the url - it can be found here: posts.cv/conduct
Yeah fair, it's the same size as read.cv but maybe you find the type size there a bit small too. Will consider it bumping it but for now just incrementing the browser zoom works well in my testing.
Yea fsho. Fwiw original screenshot I was comparing the posts announcement page and the app and how they were slightly diff sizes
Ah yeah type size on /about is the same as permalink text - subjective choice there.
It will be 404 when I click a post on notification, and also when I click reply on my reply. I like that 404 page tho😂
This was a quick fix to prevent the page from overflowing, will put a better fix in soon!
Ah now I see why. Yeah sure there are a few ways to tweak it around without affecting the experience at all. Might even some very genius and elegant ways too :))
So proud to be a post-er (a post-it? a postie?) in this little community. Grateful for the New Layer team and excited to see where this goes!
I thought this was a bug where somehow our open graph image was covering the entire page and I had a small heart attack.
hi is making one’s post profile private or at least to logged in users only possible 🫣 this was a private walled garden and I liked it
When it’s defined as a "community" app, does that mean it’s an open for everyone community, or eventually a place where functions for building communities/groups might exist?
I think the measure of success for any online community is smaller subcultures branching off from the original niche. It would be cool to support that, but only time will tell if it’s viable.
Yeah that’s makes sense. I kind of like what Facebook achieved with groups or even Reddit - even tho they’re totally different products. Especially the Interaction with people you don’t follow, but share interests with.
On mobile web (testing for the android folks I. Guess?) this footer to log in jumps up every route change
And also it will be better to back to the top of the oage if I click Home on the menu :)))
Pinning to my Arc as soon as I get back in my computer! Congrats on the (pre) release! 🎉
