The templates marketplace is a space to share, discover, and use site templates made by the community. We’re starting with 6 templates created by our team — they range from visual portfolio layouts to playful link-in-bio sites, and can be demo’d or installed in one click!
Today we’re excited to introduce Sites! A new way to publish a personal site using your Read.cv profile. As part of this launch we’re introducing two new products: 1. A Template Marketplace 2. Sites OS
The templates marketplace is also now officially open to submissions from the community, allowing anyone to publish their own template for the community to use. In the near future we will allow creators to publish paid templates as well. read.cv/sites/templates
Sites OS is our workspace for managing and creating your sites. We designed it as a windowed spatial canvas with 4 little apps to help you build your site.
Sites are built using React and offers access to any package on NPM, so there's no limit to what you can build!
Sites are free to create and start at $6/month to add a custom domain. Supporters also get one site upgraded for free 🫰 We’re super excited about the potential of Sites and can’t wait to see what the community creates! read.cv/sites/about
I plan on digging into this when I have more time but this looks rad as hell Andy. It looks like yall did a phenomenal job from what I could see. How easy is it to use one of these sites + our cv page at template.tld/cv or something?
Adding a top level domain or subdomain is pretty easy — once you've upgraded your site to our Plus plan you can just hit the three dot menu and choose add domain.
Here's my site with a custom domain: andychung.me/
Congrats team!! Love how you make it super easy to start with templates while being fully customizable 🔥
im sure it's not the intention but i'm suddenly back in middle school messing with my tumblr theme's code thinking im the greatest coder alive (when that's absolutely not true at all)
