How do you prioritise / stay motivated to be active?

I absolutely love pilates as well, but since I moved I don’t have a studio around me anymore. Do you have any suggestions for online classes? I tried Lottie Murphy on YouTube and Fluidform’s 14 day trial and loved both 😊

Yes! I just came back from class ✨ I do reformer in studio so I haven’t looked into online classes yet, good to know those ones!! Let me ask my teachers if they have other recommendations?? Maybe grab one of the classical mat pilates books and program some routines?

I miss doing reformer so much haha it’s so much fun! That would be so kind of you! Thanks a lot

Couldn’t agree more! I do traditional strength training now but only because I’m motivated to be better at what I love: rock climbing. Pilates is another favorite but there aren’t any good classical studios near me 😞

Oh that’s brilliant on the rock climbing! You’re making me feel even more motivated to do teacher training because pilates needs to be everywhere. I see so many 70+ people in studio (I’m in Florida) and you can do it for your whole life. Classical 4eva!!

It’s hard to find good classical instructors too. My teacher that I’m with 2x a week is the head educator and we do nothing but classical focused on proper alignment, technique, and form in her classes. She is light years away from the modern instructors.
