I remember when the choice was Adobe Photoshop or JASC PAINT PRO SHOP!!! My computer couldnt run adobe cause I had 12 gb total of pc power from my GATEWAY 2000.
I remember when Notion was a baby, when Sketch was King, and Figma was weird and new, InVision Studio was Private, and Dribbble was "cool" and Webflow had like 20 people. Now Sketch is the "Indie Tool" InVision is dead Notion is everything tool. Figma is King
whoops Jasc Paint shop pro?? anyway how you gonna have three names no wonder adobe won (and other stuff contributed or whstever 🙄) hahaha
Yes Paint Shop Pro, the besssssst 🥰 (Also I can relate, our computer was so slow with Dreamweaver, that’s the main reason I taught myself html and css back in the day)
YESSS i’m fully convinced I became technical from necessity because I had a computer late and it was GARBAGE (family is poor). I had to get create with how I allocated space and alternatives to programs mentioned in tutorials I followed
lol. no attacking. I just had this realization seeing some of those companies just suddenly all over and the "defaults" in their respective spaces. tides shift!
Dribbble is more or less the same as it always was, just less cool? Webflow is crazy big and powerful
I used to slice PSD files to get rounded corners with transparent borders because transparency in PNGs weren’t supported yet in IE Which was the fashion at the time
